Paediatric patients – advice and support for GPs over Christmas

We want to make you aware that our children and young people’s teams will be available throughout the holiday period to provide advice and support when needed.

We continue to offer the following options:

• Consultant hotline 07803 853 567 – for immediate advice and same day urgent case reviews please call the consultant hotline. The service is available 24/7 (carried by a senior SpR overnight who can liaise with consultant on call).
• Rapid referral reviews – within 1-2 days of booking on the e-Referral Service (e-RS).
• E-Referral Service (e-RS) support – advice and guidance is available on e-RS and you can also ask us questions via the system. We review submissions Monday to Friday.
