Health Service Laboratories (HSL) has announced that enhanced liver fibrosis and erythropoietin assays will be analysed using the Siemens Atellica from Tuesday 19 September 2023. At present, they are measured using the Siemens Centaur.

There is no change to the methodology, which remains a Siemens chemiluminescent immunoassay.

Royal Free London, University College London Hospitals, and North Middlesex University Hospital sites are affected.
