Small portable devices such as iPads, mobile phones and games consoles can be used in hospital. Please use them sensitively, as even with earphones this can be disturbing for some people.
Wi-fi is now available across most of our hospitals; please speak to a member of your nursing team to find out more.
Other patients, their visitors and staff should not be recorded or filmed without consent.
Also, please keep valuables like these with you at all times as UCLH cannot be responsible for their safekeeping.
Staff use
You may see staff on their phones and tablets on the wards. This is normal, as many of our systems are designed to be accessed in this way.
