UCLH has a team of chaplains of different faith traditions who visit regularly to care for the spiritual, religious and pastoral needs of patients and their families/friends. The chaplains are happy to visit any patient. If you would like to see a chaplain, then please ask the ward staff to contact them on 020 3447 3007.
The chapel, Muslim prayer-room, Jewish Sabbath room and quiet room (on the ground floor of University College Hospital, near the café) are always open for staff, inpatients and any relatives staying overnight. Outpatients and family/friends are welcome 07:00 to 21:00 (approx).
At the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the chapel is near the main hospital entrance. At UCLH at Westmoreland Street, there is a quiet room by the main entrance. Grafton Way Building has a multi-faith Oasis and a Muslim prayer room in the main concourse.
Everyone is welcome to use the various religious facilities in the hospitals; ask staff for the location of the facilities in your particular hospital or view our chaplaincy pages.
