Pathology is a clinical support service to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.

Pathology at UCLH is subdivided into traditional subspecialities with the specialist laboratories included:

  • Biochemical Medicine
  • Haematology/transfusion
  • Cellular Pathology (including histopathology, cytopathology, neuropathology)
  • Microbiology (including virology, immunology, parasitology)
  • Blood test department (Phlebotomy)
