Infection inpatients are located on Ward T08 in the Tower at University College London, on the 8th floor. Our ward has 43 inpatient beds, including 22 side rooms for infectious patients.
We specialise in various fields such as:
- Infectious Diseases (including HIV inpatients) and Tropical Medicine
- Respiratory Medicine
- Rheumatology
Additionally, we serve as the inpatient ward for the Hospital of Tropical Diseases.
We also care for patients needing advanced respiratory support including non-invasive ventilation, tracheostomies and chest drains.
We prioritise patient safety and provide holistic, people focused care. Our staff are trained to uphold the trust values of kindness, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement to enhance the patient experience.
