The UCLH paediatric psychology team is running a virtual group for parents: 'Understanding your child's behaviour' with trainee child wellbeing practitioners.

The group will focus on understanding and supporting children (aged 2-9 years old) with a range of challenges including 'temper tantrums' (communicating needs), 'sibling rivalry' (a wish for parent attention), bedtime/morning routine and/or fussy eating. We will discuss techniques to promote positive relationships, preferred behaviour, routine and boundaries.

This group will consist of 8 weekly virtual sessions every Tuesday from 1 - 2pm starting 10 September 2024.

Parents must have a child under a medical consultant at UCLH. Support could be for this childor for a sibling of this child. The child for whom support is for must be aged 2 - 9 years old.
