UCLH welcomes new clinical nurse specialist appointed to support asbestos-related cancer patients

We are aware that some families have received communication from Insulet about compatibility with Dexcom G7.
Until NHS England confirm that Omnipod 5 with Dexcom G7 meets the cost criteria for HCL systems, we are unable to authorise NHS funded changes to Dexcom G7.
Once we are notified that the system is available on the NHS the following steps will be needed before moving from G6 to G7:
- the software update has been completed
- all Omnipod G6 compatible pods and sensors have been used before G7 compatible pods and sensors are provided.
Once NHS England confirm the availability of Omnipod 5 with G7 and we are able to offer the system, this will be communicated by the team through the Digibete App and the UCLH website.
