The lung cancer support group is a place where you can feel comfortable talking to others who understand what you're going through. You can share your experiences, or if you prefer, just listen to others. The group is facilitated by a clinical nurse specialist and a support and information specialist.
Who can join the group?
The group is for anyone affected by lung cancer, including patients and their family members, carers and friends.
When is the group held?
The group meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month, 2pm to 3.30pm
Where does the group take place?
The group meets at the Macmillan Support and Information Service, on the ground floor of the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre.

Information for the day of the group

Please don't come to the Cancer Centre if you have a cold, cough, sore throat or any flu-like symptoms.

If possible, please arrive 15 minutes before the group starts. This will give you time to greet the other members of the group before it starts.
