The haematology support group provides an opportunity for adults affected by a blood cancer or blood condition to meet to share information, ask questions of specialist staff, and support each other.
Everyone is welcome, including patients and their family, friends and carers.
The group is facilitated by two support and information specialists and a volunteer.
When is the group held?
The group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Where does the group take place?
You can join either in person (at the Macmillan Support and Information Service on the ground floor of the Macmillan Cancer Centre) or online (on Zoom).

Information for people attending the group in person

Please don't come to the Cancer Centre if you have a cold, cough, sore throat or any flu-like symptoms.

If possible, please arrive 15 minutes before the group starts. This will give you time to greet the other members of the group beforehand.
