Professional background

Ms Dhivya Chandrasekaran is a consultant gynaecological oncologist at University College London Hospital.

Ms Chandrasekaran completed her undergraduate training St Bartholomew's and Royal London School of Medicine.  She trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London and East Midlands. Following her research training, she completed her subspecialty fellowship in gynae-oncology at Royal London and Royal Marsden Hospitals. 

Her practice encompasses the comprehensive surgical management of gynaecological malignancies and she is the lead for robotic surgery in gynae-oncology at UCLH.

Implementation of tumour genetic testing in ovarian cancer, development and integration of genetic testing within gynae-oncology services, and design and development of objective assessment tools for training of surgical skills.
