Professional background
Ephia Yasmin is a sub-specialist in reproductive medicine and surgery and person responsible in the Reproductive Medicine Unit and the clinical lead for gynaecology at UCLH. She is an honorary Associate Professor at UCL.
Her special interests are management of conception delay, fertility preservation, complex gynaecological developmental diversity, paediatric and adolescent gynaecology and reproductive endocrinology.
Miss Yasmin is active in the local, national and international scene through her roles in British Fertility Society (BFS), British society of Paediatric and Adolescent gynaecology (BritSPAG) and European Society of human reproduction and embryology.
She was chair policy and practice at the British Fertility Society and is current chair of the special interest group in fertility preservation. She led national guidelines and continues to develop them with colleagues.
She has an active role as an executive member in the British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology.
She is a committee member of the ESHRE Certification for Reproductive Endoscopic Surgeons.
She is the training programme supervisor of sub-specialty training in reproductive medicine at UCLH.
Miss Yasmin has active research interests. She supervises post graduate degrees. She has several peer reviewed publications and contributed to book chapters.
