Dr Yogen Amin is head of the department of neuroanaesthesia and a consultant neuroanaesthetist and neurointensivist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square.
After three years' pre-clinical at the University of St Andrews, he graduated from Manchester University in 1993. He trained as an anaesthetist at the Imperial School of Anaesthesia, during this period he was involved in research at the Magill Department of Anaesthesia, Imperial College London and at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California.
