Professional background
Dr Joseph Flexen is a consultant radiologist at UCLH with a specialist interest in dental and head and neck imaging.
He is dual qualified in dentistry (Liverpool, 2010) and medicine (Barts, 2017). Prior to radiology, he worked in a range of settings, including dental practice, dental hospital specialties and maxillofacial surgery. He completed his core radiology training at Imperial College NHS Trust and subspecialty training at UCLH. He provides consultant level reporting for all aspects of dental radiology.
He has extensive medical education experience, having undertaken a medical education fellowship at NHS England, completing his PGCert in medical education and gaining FHEA recognition.
