Professional background

Dr Emma Allan is a consultant paediatric radiologist at University College London Hospital.  

She qualified in medicine from University College London and did not move far afield to undertake radiology training at University College London Hospital. Throughout her training, she has gained paediatric radiology experience in a number of tertiary and quaternary centres across London, including the Royal Brompton Hospital, the Royal London Hospital and during a year-long fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital.  

As a paediatric radiologist, she has clinical experience in all aspects of paediatric imaging including general paediatric radiology and quaternary level highly specialised radiology required for patients cared for at UCLH. She has a particular interest in the use of artificial intelligence in radiology and whole body MRI.
