Professional background

Ms Alexandra Lyne (known as Lexy) qualified from University of Manchester, and completed specialist training at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, before joining UCLH/Eastman Dental Hospital in 2019. She completed a masters in Paediatric Dentistry from King’s College London in 2018.

Lexy has an interest in the management of children and young people with developmental and genetic anomalies that affect their teeth. She also enjoys working with the orthodontic team for patients requiring surgical procedures as part of their care.

Research interests

Lexy is part of a multi-centre research team looking at the environmental impact of oral healthcare devices and treatments, in order to find ways to make dentistry more sustainable for the health of the planet.
