Congratulations to the winners and finalists of this year’s Celebrating Excellence Awards, whose achievements were recognised at a special dinner event earlier this week.
Earlier this week, some 360 staff attended a dinner, funded by UCLH Charity, at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel. It was fantastic to see so many colleagues together from such a wide range of services, teams and departments.
David Probert, chief executive, and Julia Neuberger, chair, and Victoria McDonald, Channel 4 News Health and Social Care Editor read out the list of finalists and presented the awards to our winners.
Chief people officer, Liz O’Hara, said: “These awards are always such a fantastic occasion. Getting together to celebrate with so many staff – both virtually and in-person at the award-giving ceremony, is a unique opportunity and one we all relish. It’s a pleasure to hear about and recognise the incredible work done right across the breadth of the organisation, in so many different roles and professions.”
Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a nomination for our staff and volunteers. If you have been treated or looked after by an exceptional member of staff, or a volunteer, we would love you to tell us about it. You can see a full list of this year’s winners below.
