I joined the UCLH Leadership and Management Scheme in 2021, working as service manager in the Emergency Department, and project manager in the Strategy team, where I have been fortunate to work with many wonderful people across varied clinical, capital and wellbeing projects. I currently work as corporate partnerships manager at UCLH Charity, fostering relationships with companies to support patients, staff and research across UCLH, and taking on fundraising challenges myself such as 30 mile walk along the Thames. I am a member of the Wellbeing, Women’s and Sustainability networks at UCLH, and have taken part in initiatives such as the QI and Project Management courses. I also sit on the steering group for the LMTS Programme and have co-created an alumni group for all trainees at UCLH to connect.

Prior to this, I read Biomedical Sciences at New College, University of Oxford, and studied a postgraduate Public Health degree at Manchester University, alongside working for an NHS MRI provider in Norwich, my home town. I am also proud to be a mentor for university students and have a passion for widening access to opportunities for those from underrepresented groups.

As Governor, I will continue to speak up for what is right and challenge injustice and inefficiencies to commit to real improvements. I value honesty, collaboration and accountability, to ensure UCLH is a supportive and rewarding workplace which offers excellent care. I am an empathic, responsive and kind listener, seeking to understand what matters to you.

I am proud to work at UCLH, a place which makes a difference to many lives every day. I genuinely care about improving the UCLH experience for staff and patients, both for those we have met, and for those we will meet in the future.
