I am honoured to serve as a patient governor for UCLH.

Healthcare has always been a passion of mine, and since moving to London from Portugal, I have developed a deep admiration for the NHS. UCLH has been my local hospital for the past eight years, where I received exceptional care during my pregnancies and the births of my children in August 2021 and February 2024.

My career began in biomedical research at UCL, and I later earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Imperial College London. Currently, I work as a project manager for an NHS partnership company that focuses on using data and technology to improve patient outcomes. I’m proactive by nature, always asking questions and striving to improve communication between stakeholders.

I look forward to supporting UCLH in its mission to deliver exceptional healthcare and education to our community and beyond.
