Staff Art Exhibition 2024

The annual Staff & Volunteer Art Exhibition, curated by UCLH Arts & Heritage, provides an opportunity for those working within the Trust to showcase their outstanding creativity. This year, we received over 150 entries for the exhibition and we were truly impressed by the high quality of the submissions. The online exhibition below features artwork from everyone who submitted, showcasing the variety of mediums used including photography, printmaking, collage, and sculpture.

Visit the exhibition in person at The Street Gallery, University College Hospital, 235 Euston Road, starting Friday, 13th September. Join us for a community viewing on Thursday, 12th September, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. This event is supported by the London Graphic Centre, who generously donated thirty goodie bags filled with art supplies for the Trust members showcasing their work in the exhibition.

Submit your vote for the Visitor Favourite Artwork by simply ‘liking’ your favourite images through the form attached here. You can vote for multiple entries, and the winner will receive a £50 voucher! Some artworks are also available for purchase — if interested, please email our Arts Apprentice, Rachel Wilford, at rachel.wilford1@nhs.net.

This year, we’re excited to offer a special prize: one lucky entrant will win a National Art Pass membership! The National Art Pass gives you free access to hundreds of museums, galleries, and historic houses across the UK, plus 50% off major exhibitions. Find out more here: National Art Pass | Art Fund

About UCLH Arts & Heritage

UCLH Arts & Heritage is the hospital arts and heritage project that serves UCLH NHS Foundation Trust and its surrounding community and is funded entirely by charitable donations and fundraising. UCLH Arts & Heritage is committed to providing a welcoming, uplifting environment for all patients, visitors and staff through the use of a varied and stimulating arts and heritage programme. Since 2005, UCLH  has worked to improve patient and staff outcomes through the Arts. It does this in a number of ways, including a changing exhibition and music programme, creative workshops on wards, artist residencies, commissioning site-specific artwork, and a staff culture club. UCLH arts and heritage receives its funding from UCLH Charity and the Friends of UCLH.
