Cancer services at UCLH
UCLH provides a comprehensive service to diagnose, treat and support people with cancer. We are a specialist centre for many types of cancer and treat patients from both our local area and across the country.
Our expert teams provide cancer care from state-of-the-art facilities, including the award-winning University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre and University College Hospital Grafton Way Building. We are continually looking for innovative ways to provide cancer care. We are bringing the world’s most advanced form of radiotherapy, proton beam therapy, to the UK. Our close links with UCL give patients the opportunity to participate in numerous clinical research trials, and provide access to new treatments as soon as they become available.
Having tests for cancer and going through treatment can be a stressful and overwhelming experience for most people. Your cancer pathway support guide aims to provide information and signposting to emotional and practical support at the right time for patients during and after tests or treatment and follow on care. The guide is easy to use and available to print out and in digital form. It includes space to keep notes. Take a look at the guide here.
